PDC were approached by The Bartrum Group to take forward their vision of a new warehouse and office. Our inhouse teams worked together to provide a comprehensive package of works, from initial topographical and utility surveys of the overgrown site, through concept design and planning permission, to full structural and civil design to meet Building Regulations requirements.
The Client wanted to maximise the use of the site, which proved challenging at times due to constraints such as belowground utilities, potential flood risk, and varying ground levels which required the design of a retaining wall along the site boundary. Working both internally as well as with the local authorities and various contractors, the warehouse was successfully opened.
